Systems of Crates
Very often, the number of modules required is larger than the number that can fit in a single crate. In that case, crates can be connected together to form a single system.
There are two types of systems: serial and parallel. The parallel system is used in TRIUMF data acquisition. In particular, TRIUMF uses the Fisher type of parallel system (developed by the Fisher Controls Corporation).
